Bromford Housing, Centre for the Blind

Upgrade all lighting to LED energy-efficient lighting.

RMD Electrical were employed to carry out the replacement of 500+ lights throughout a facility who care for visually impaired tenants. We were responsible to provide increased lux levels to all communal areas during standard operation and 100% increased lux levels during emergency operation.

Working with LED lighting manufacturers, we designed the lighting to provide increased lighting levels as well as the centre making a 60% energy saving compared to the existing lighting.

New Installation- New apartment block

Complete design and build electrical installation of 21 bespoke apartments.

RMD Electrical carried out the full electrical installation to apartments and communal areas of the conversion of a grade II listed former library.

Complete installation of all electrics to new spectator stand

Installation of all electrics at Moseley Rugby Club. Main contractor Wilmott Dixon built a new stand complete with new changing rooms , offices, Bar area and Large function room. The building also included the new home for Birmingham Bowls.

Completed this project between October 2014 and January 2015.
